The highly anticipated anime adaptation of The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess has released a brand-new trailer, confirming its official premiere date of October 8. Produced by Studio DEEN and directed by Hiroaki Sakurai, the series is already generating excitement thanks to its intriguing premise and richly detailed characters. Based on the manga by Akiharu Toka, serialized in Hakusensha’s LaLa shojo magazine since 2018, the story follows Konoha Sato, a former teenage author who suddenly finds herself reincarnated as the villainess of her own fantasy romance novel. To avoid a tragic end, she must recall every plot twist and death flag she once wrote. However, her carefully crafted survival plan is thrown into chaos when Yomi, a mysterious character she does not remember creating, appears claiming to be her ally.
