At its heart, the anime is a wild blend of romantic comedy, drama, and moments of genuine connection between characters, particularly Kazuya and Chizuru Mizuhara. Reiji Miyajima’s manga has been running in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2017 and has become a fan-favorite worldwide. Kodansha USA releases the manga in English, further expanding the series’ international reach.
