I Parry Everything Season 2 is officially in the works. The announcement was made through the anime’s official website and X account, exciting fans of the fantasy-comedy series. Following a well-received first season that aired from July to September 2024, the sequel brings back Studio OLM as the production house, promising more of Noor’s unconventional journey through a world of swords, kingdoms, and clueless bravery.

The story centers on Noor, a young man who trained for over a decade in isolation in the mountains with a singular goal   to become an adventurer. Unfortunately for him, the only ability he has mastered is parrying attacks, a skill widely considered useless by the adventurer guilds. Yet Noor’s path begins to change when he arrives in the royal capital, just as political chaos threatens to destabilize the Kingdom of Clays. Amid assassination attempts and territorial schemes, Noor's unusual abilities begin to shine in ways no one, including himself, could have imagined.

Season 1 featured detailed animation and comedic timing that struck a chord with audiences. The team behind the first season included director Fukuyama Hiroshi, series composition by Murakoshi Shigeru, and character design by Noma Chikako. The music, a blend of lighthearted and adventurous tones, was composed by BeauDamian and Saiki Tatsuhiko. Chief animation directors Ikeda Yuuji and Oohashi Toshiaki ensured the show's action scenes delivered impact while maintaining the humor that defines the series.

The returning voice cast brings back Daiki Hamano as the unshakable yet innocent Noor, alongside Maekawa Ryoko as Princess Lynneburg Clays. Supporting characters include Rolo, played by Ayumu Murase, and Ines Harness, voiced by Nanako Mori. Their performances carried much of the emotional weight and comic relief that defined the show’s tone. Other familiar voices like Shinichiro Miki, Kenta Miyake, and Megumi Toyoguchi round out the ensemble cast that fans are eager to see again.

Originally created by Nabeshiki, I Parry Everything began as a light novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2019. It was later acquired by Earth Star Entertainment, which has since published the series with illustrations by Kawaguchi. A manga adaptation by KRSG is currently ongoing in Comic Earth Star magazine. J-Novel Club holds the license for the English version of the light novel, which has gained a loyal fan base for its humorous take on underdog fantasy tropes.

The second season is expected to delve deeper into the consequences of Noor’s growing influence in the kingdom, while still leaning into the absurdity of a protagonist who can parry anything but knows nothing about politics or heroism. With neighboring nations circling and Noor blissfully unaware of his role in the grand scheme of things, the next chapter is bound to bring more laughs, more action, and a greater focus on the characters caught in the kingdom’s brewing storm.

As of now, no official release date has been announced for Season 2, but fans can expect additional updates, visuals, and trailers in the coming months.
