Dealing with the Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze: Anime Confirms Release Date and New Trailer

The lighthearted romantic comedy anime Dealing with the Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze is officially set to premiere this July, bringing a fresh blend of heart, humor, and charm to the Summer 2025 anime season. With a newly released trailer, updated key visual, and more details about the characters and staff, anticipation is rising quickly among fans. Adapted from Aya Hirakawa’s manga Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi, the anime promises to deliver a sweet slice of life story filled with family, romance, and personal healing.

The anime is scheduled to begin airing in Japan between July 9 and 10 and will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll as part of its Summer 2025 lineup. A new promotional video was released alongside a vibrant main visual, giving viewers their best look yet at the dynamic between the protagonist Yū Ayase and the three Mikadono sisters. The characters are seen sharing warm and cheerful moments that perfectly reflect the show’s tone. These brief glimpses already hint at a wholesome story filled with emotional bonds and everyday joys.

The full trailer also confirms the opening theme song, Kimi ni Fusawashii Kiseki, performed by Nichiyōbi no MAISONdes. The music complements the gentle pacing and uplifting energy of the series, highlighting scenes of growing connection between Yū and the sisters. The visual language suggests both a romantic and comedic angle, framed in the context of healing relationships and the awkward sweetness of unexpected family dynamics.

The series is produced by P.A. Works and directed by Tadahito Matsubayashi, with music composed by Masaru Yokoyama, known for his work on several emotionally resonant anime. The cast has expanded to include Masaya Matsukaze as the father of the Mikadono sisters and Ai Kayano as Yū’s mother, adding more emotional weight and family context to the story. Their presence is expected to bring depth and complexity to Yū’s motivations as well as the sisters’ journey from emotional distance to genuine connection.

At the core of the anime is Yū Ayase, a kind and grounded high school student who moves into the home of three gifted sisters to fulfill his late mother’s wish of having a real family. Each sister excels in different areas one is an actress, another practices martial arts, and the third is a shogi prodigy. Initially, the girls keep their distance, suspicious of Yū’s motives. But as they witness his sincerity and his ability to navigate daily life with quiet competence, they begin to open up. The anime explores how Yū’s warmth slowly melts their defenses, leading to funny, romantic, and emotionally satisfying developments.

The blend of slice of life simplicity with heartfelt themes of chosen family makes this show one of the season’s most anticipated titles. Whether it is the sisters’ strong personalities or Yū’s quiet determination, Dealing with the Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze is expected to deliver a feel good experience that balances comedy with real emotional resonance.
