Bungo Stray Dogs fans have even more to look forward to as the series enters a new stage of its pre 10th anniversary celebrations. With its official milestone scheduled for April 2026, the anime adaptation is spending a full year honoring its legacy. July marks the seventh month in this commemorative rollout, and it arrives with a special gift for longtime viewers   a brand new 9th anniversary visual showcasing the Port Mafia in a pose crafted to echo the number nine.

The anniversary visual is being used across multiple platforms, including official displays, store promotions, and upcoming merchandise lines. The design not only pays tribute to some of the most iconic characters in the series but also sets the tone for the next few months of the anniversary campaign. The visual highlights a darker and more intense side of the series, perfectly in line with the anime’s trademark noir aesthetic and psychological drama.

Starting in September, the celebrations will extend to the Bungo Stray Dogs Autumn Grand Festival. Fans will be able to get their hands on an exclusive set of merchandise that includes travel themed acrylic stands, holographic badges, mini trunk cases, and unique locker style keychains. The character illustrations for these items are inspired by a Kyushu travel concept, adding a fresh and whimsical flavor to the brand’s evolving visual identity.

These limited edition products will be available at Animate stores across Japan and internationally, as well as through the Animate Online Shop. For fans outside Japan, this ensures that they can still take part in the celebrations and build their collections with commemorative items directly tied to the anniversary timeline.

Adding to the excitement, September and October will feature pop up shop events in two of Japan’s major locations. The Ikebukuro Main Store will host the first event from September 20 to October 5, while the Umeda Store will follow from October 11 to October 26. These shops will offer exclusive merchandise, visual installations, and character standees, all centered around the new 9th anniversary artwork. These physical spaces will serve as immersive touchpoints where fans can celebrate the legacy of Bungo Stray Dogs in an interactive environment.

The ongoing anniversary campaign has been slowly unveiling a rich lineup of visual drops, merchandise reveals, and themed events each month, creating a year long journey that celebrates the anime’s storytelling evolution. From its stylized action sequences and philosophical undertones to its character driven arcs and literary references, Bungo Stray Dogs has carved out a distinct niche in the anime world.

Originally written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa, the series first began serialization in Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine in 2012. Since then, it has expanded into multiple manga spin offs, light novels, stage plays, and a widely successful anime series animated by Studio Bones. Season five concluded with Episode 11, and although no date has been confirmed, a continuation of the story has already been hinted at, keeping fans on edge with anticipation.

As the countdown to April 2026 continues, fans can expect more content, announcements, and creative campaigns. This is not just a milestone for the franchise, but a heartfelt celebration for a global community that has grown with its characters, lived through their pain and victories, and kept returning to its ever complex universe.
