WurtS has officially released a special collaboration music video for DAN DA DAN, showcasing the anime’s second season ending theme “Doukashiteru.” The video, now live on YouTube, captures moments from episodes thirteen through seventeen, combining emotionally charged visuals with the artist’s genre-blending sound.
The song “Doukashiteru” has been streaming on all major platforms since July 11, and has already resonated strongly with fans of both the artist and the anime. The track is known for its immersive tone, weaving in elements of dance, hip-hop, rock, and soul, which aligns perfectly with the fast-paced and unpredictable energy of DAN DA DAN.
WurtS, who started his solo music journey in 2021, is renowned for his hands-on approach to his music, personally handling everything from songwriting and arranging to the visual concepts that accompany his releases. His artistic control gives each project a cohesive identity, and this latest collaboration is no exception.
Beyond this anime feature, WurtS is gearing up for his highly anticipated Concert Hall Tour II – DIGITAL LOVE, which kicks off in October. The tour will include performances across major cities like Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, and he is also set to light up stages at several of Japan’s top music festivals, including ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL, WILD BUNCH FEST, and SPACE SHOWER SWEET LOVE SHOWER.
Meanwhile, DAN DA DAN Season 2 continues to thrive. Since its summer premiere, it has remained near the top of weekly anime rankings and was named one of the most anticipated shows of the season. The anime's growing global fanbase has been praising its storytelling, direction, and vibrant character dynamics.
The manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, published on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform since 2021, has also seen increased readership thanks to the anime’s popularity. As of July 2025, twenty volumes of the manga have been released, and the series continues to gain momentum with every new chapter.
In a recent feature, the anime’s Season 2 director Abel Góngora, along with the main English voice cast Abby Trott, AJ Beckles, and Aleks Le, shared insights into the production and what fans can look forward to in the upcoming episodes.
With this new music video, DAN DA DAN fans get to experience the story’s emotional highs and intense moments from a new lens, powered by WurtS’ dynamic musical presence. Whether you're invested in the anime, the music, or both, this collaboration is a must-watch.
