The Elbaph Arc has pushed the stakes in One Piece higher than ever before, and no character reflects this new level of threat more vividly than Saint Killingham. With the God’s Knights now playing a major role in the chaos unraveling across the island of the giants, it has become increasingly clear that Killingham stands above the rest. His unique blend of terrifying abilities, unpredictable personality, and growing influence confirms what fans have suspected for a while now. Among the God’s Knights, Killingham is the most dangerous of them all.
First introduced as a seemingly harmless and almost timid presence, Killingham’s polite demeanor initially stood in stark contrast to the more openly vicious God’s Knights. At first glance, he seemed reluctant to fight the Straw Hats and preferred to avoid unnecessary conflict. This created early theories among fans that perhaps Killingham might turn out to be more complex than his title suggested. Some even believed he might switch sides and help Luffy and his allies. But as the Elbaph Arc progressed, that illusion crumbled fast.
Killingham belongs to the Rimoshifu Family, one of the powerful lineages within the Holy Land. His devil fruit, the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model Kirin, grants him a mythical zoan transformation, giving him the form of a divine dragon. But the true horror does not lie in his physical power alone. It comes from his ability to control sleep and dreams. Killingham can force people to sleepwalk under his command, manipulate their dreams, and even manifest those dreams into physical form.
This power, known among the cast as MMA, allows Killingham to bring a person’s imagination to life. If a sleeping person dreams of food, it materializes. If they imagine monsters, demons, or horrors, those take shape too. These dream born entities can be larger than giants and take forms from folklore, undead legends, or personal nightmares. What’s worse, even after these MMA are defeated, they can return. There appears to be no permanent way to stop them. With the same quasi immortality granted to all God’s Knights, Killingham remains a near invincible force.
In One Piece chapter 1151, Killingham reveals his true form and personality. His earlier polite manner disappears entirely. His Man Beast form rampages through Elbaph, and it is clear that he no longer intends to act with restraint. His dream monsters grow more violent and surreal, especially after the children under his control begin dreaming of demons. These dreams, twisted by fear and chaos, create real threats that tear through Elbaph alongside the monsters summoned by Imu.
What makes Killingham so frightening is the unpredictable nature of his strength. He thrives in psychological warfare, using fear and imagination as weapons. He can change the battlefield in ways that ignore the usual rules of power and logic. Unlike enemies that can be overpowered with brute force, Killingham represents a deeper, more emotional challenge. He weaponizes the mind. And as long as people around him dream, he never runs out of an army.
Even with Imu casting a massive shadow over the current arc, Killingham emerges as the more active and dangerous threat. While Imu may shape the big picture, Killingham controls the moment. He is the storm crashing through Elbaph, creating chaos with every thought he infects. Until he is stopped, the Straw Hats and their allies will remain trapped in an ever growing nightmare.
