This third season will mark the return of Ryosuke Shibuya as director, following his work on the second half of Season 2. Studio Bind, which has led the animation throughout the series, will once again be handling production. Mushoku Tensei Season 3’s arrival in April 2026 would continue the show’s steady pace, coming exactly two years after the premiere of Season 2 Part 2 in April 2024.
Egg Firm, another major player in the production of Mushoku Tensei, is also back. Chief producer Nobuhiro Osawa recently expressed his long-term hopes of delivering full adaptations for several fan-favorite series under Egg Firm’s portfolio, including Mushoku Tensei, Sword Art Online, and DanMachi. Meanwhile, My Hero Academia’s highly anticipated FINAL SEASON (Season 8) has been confirmed for an October 4, 2025 release. These announcements signal a busy and impactful upcoming year for anime fans around the world.
Crunchyroll will stream Mushoku Tensei Season 3 upon its release and continues to describe the series as the story of a 34-year-old man who is reincarnated into a new magical world after a tragic accident in his previous life.
