Excitement is building for Mechanical Marie, the anime adaptation of Aki Akimoto’s unique manga that blends martial arts, suspense, and science fiction. As the series gears up for its October debut, a brand new key visual has been released, offering a closer look at the main characters including the mysterious Marie and her employer Arthur. Alongside the visual, two new cast members have officially been revealed. Yuuichirou Umehara, known for his role as Goblin Slayer, will voice Roy. Daishi Kajita, who starred as Hibiki in Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, joins the lineup as Maynard. Both characters are expected to play significant roles in the twists that unfold within the mansion’s tightly controlled world.
Directed by Junji Nishimura, whose past work includes The Fire Hunter, the anime is being produced by studios Zero-G and Liber.
