Trailer and Cast Reveal
The highly anticipated second season of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku has unveiled a fresh trailer alongside the announcement of three new cast members. Koji Yusa joins as Yamada Asaemon Jikka, Maaya Uchida steps in as Yamada Asaemon Kiyomaru, and Sayaka Ohara will voice Yamada Asaemon Isuzu. These additions expand the already rich lineup of characters, setting the stage for even more dramatic confrontations.
Visuals of key characters including Gabimaru, Sagiri, Chobei Aza, Toma, and Yuzuriha were also revealed, building anticipation for the continuation of their deadly journey.
Returning Staff and Voice Cast
Kaori Makita returns to direct Season 2, with Akira Kindaichi once again handling the series script. Akitsugu Hisagi continues as character designer while Yoshiaki Dewa provides the music score. Fans will also be delighted to know that the main voice cast is back, including Chiaki Kobayashi as Gabimaru, Yumiri Hanamori as Sagiri, Kensho Ono as Toma, Rie Takahashi as Yuzuriha, and many more.
From Manga to Screen
Based on Yuji Kaku’s manga serialized from 2018 to 2021 on Shonen Jump+, the series has captivated audiences with its blend of intense action, eerie atmosphere, and emotional storytelling. The anime follows Gabimaru, the strongest assassin of his village, as he seeks the Elixir of Life on a mysterious island filled with deadly beasts and rival convicts.
The first season introduced fans to the perilous stakes and brutal battles of this world, and with MAPPA at the helm once more, Season 2 is set to push the boundaries even further.
