Crunchyroll has announced its biggest celebration yet with the arrival of Crunchyroll Anime FanFest, a high energy two day anime music festival set to take place during San Diego Comic Con. Scheduled for July 25 and 26, 2025, the event will unfold at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, right behind the San Diego Convention Center, and promises an electrifying blend of live music, anime activations, and fan experiences. The best part is that it will be completely free to attend.

The festival is bringing some of Japan’s most iconic anime music artists to an international stage, including crowd favorites like SPYAIR, ALI, and yama. Known for their memorable contributions to hit anime series such as Haikyu, Jujutsu Kaisen, and SPY x FAMILY, these artists are expected to deliver unforgettable live performances that bring beloved anime worlds to life through music. Joining them will be American and global talents like Denzel Curry and INIKO, showing how anime culture continues to influence music across genres and borders.

The July 25 lineup is geared towards rock, pop, and electronic music that blends perfectly with the anime aesthetic. Artists such as SPYAIR, ASH DA HERO, yama, and DJ Slushii are expected to headline the stage with high energy sets that reflect the emotional intensity and stylistic boldness of modern anime. On July 26, the soundscape shifts toward a more diverse blend of hip hop, R&B, and global influences with performances by Denzel Curry, INIKO, ALI, and Yaeji among others.

More than just a music event, Crunchyroll Anime FanFest is also an immersive anime experience. Attendees can look forward to anime themed installations, exclusive merchandise pop ups, and activations tied to some of the most anticipated anime titles including Gachiakuta, Kaiju No. 8, and The Rising of the Shield Hero. The event will also feature a special “Activations Crosswalk” experience where fans can interact with themed environments, receive exclusive giveaways, and step into the worlds of their favorite shows.

Doors open at 1:00 p.m. PDT on both days, inviting anime fans from across the world to experience what Crunchyroll describes as its most “bold, big, and loud” presence ever at San Diego Comic Con. Whether you are there for the music, the anime, or the community, Crunchyroll Anime FanFest is shaping up to be one of the most dynamic anime celebrations of the year.
