The upcoming anime A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai is officially heading to screens in October 2025, and fans of fantasy adventures have something fresh to look forward to. The announcement was accompanied by a brand new key visual and a first look trailer that showcases the vibrant world of Madeus, a place where gathering rare items is more than a hobby it is survival.
The story follows Takeru Kamishiro, a regular office worker who suddenly finds himself transported into another world. But this is no ordinary isekai. In Madeus, Takeru is blessed with enhanced strength, magical abilities, and a rare skill that allows him to sense and locate valuable materials across the land. What begins as a strange twist of fate quickly turns into a full-blown adventure, as Takeru partners with a cheerful and resourceful girl named Bee. Together, they embark on a journey filled with treasure hunting, monster encounters, and unraveling secrets buried deep within the fantasy realm.
The key visual released this week introduces Takeru and Bee standing confidently at the center of a rugged, mystical landscape, joined by several other important characters who are expected to play major roles in the story. The visuals hint at camaraderie, danger, and plenty of magical action.
Fans can also hear the opening theme song, titled Prologue, performed by the vocal duo Nornis. Known for their work with NIJISANJI, Nornis brings a melodic and emotional sound that perfectly sets the tone for the anime’s epic themes of discovery and friendship.
Directed by Yoshinori Odaka, the anime is a co-production between the well-established studios Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP. Series composition is in the hands of Gigaemon Ichikawa, whose narrative expertise will help bring Masuo Kinoko’s beloved light novel series to life. The main voice cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki as the determined Takeru, Ayasa Ito as the ever-reliable Bee, and Makoto Koichi as the mysterious Brolite.
Originally written by Masuo Kinoko with illustrations by Senbon Umishima and Susumu Kuroi, the light novel series has sold over 1.95 million copies and gained widespread acclaim. It was the winner of both the Grand Prize and the Reader’s Choice Award at the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Awards.
The story’s charm lies in its blend of item-gathering mechanics, light-hearted humor, and richly imagined fantasy settings. Rather than focusing solely on battles or romance, A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai explores what it means to build a new life through exploration and curiosity.
With the manga already available on AlphaManga in English, and more details on the anime’s broadcast schedule to be revealed soon, the anticipation continues to grow. For anime lovers who enjoy thoughtful worldbuilding, strong character partnerships, and fantasy with a practical twist, this series might be the next big seasonal hit.
